
Media Buyer
The Media Buyer will be responsible for cost-effectively buying online media (primarily email) for a wide variety of consumer services advertisers. The individual will evaluate, negotiate and purchase online media. The Media Buyer, working in conjunction with the operations team, will also recommend strategic and tactical changes to optimize campaign performance. You should already have many existing relationships with publishers, networks, affiliates and brokers. This position requires phone negotiations and deal closing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Contact, negotiate, and close online media buys with publishers (email list owners and managers, affiliate networks)
- Account manage multiple campaigns
- Measure and evaluate performance
- Provide creative input
- Optimize campaigns
- Monitor campaign ROI
- Maintain strong relationships with publisher and advertisers
Requirements:
- Must have an established contact list of publishers, agencies, brokers and networks
- Ability to aggressively close deals
- Experience buying CPA, CPC and CPM Media
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience managing at least $1MM in annual media buying
- Expertise media buying for a broad range of advertisers preferred
- Minimum of 2 years buying media online (e.g., email, co-reg, affiliate network)
