Software Engineer

NextWave is seeking to hire software engineers at all levels of experience. Software development plays an instrumental role in creating NextWave's websites and serving our customers. NextWave has a very strong team of developers who excel at forming and implementing the creative solutions needed to grow NextWave's business.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain NextWave's websites, advertising applications and campaign management and reporting functionality
• Develop custom ads and lead delivery mechanisms for NextWave's customers
• Creation of tools and systems for testing and improving the applications
• Work with the product and operations teams

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience in Perl development for the web (Apache::ASP/TT/Mason)
• Must be well-versed in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and object-oriented programming; and be familiar with building, testing, and implementing mod_perl/Apache installations on Linux
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of relational databases (preferably MySQL), Catalyst or other MVC frameworks preferred
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
